Thank you for taking the time to explore my art.

I’m Hazuki, an artist and interior designer currently based in Sydney and Port Douglas. I grew up in the lush surroundings of Port Douglas, Queensland, where nature was a constant companion. From hiking through rainforests and camping beneath the stars to fishing, spearfishing, and diving along the coastline, these early experiences shaped the way I see the world and continue to inspire my creative journey.

My mother, a gifted painter who held exhibitions of her own, nurtured my love for art from a young age. Through her work, she taught me the value of intuition, expression, and trusting the creative process.

My artistic practice spans watercolour and digital media. Drawing from the vivid colours of the tropics and the gentle rhythm of the ocean, my work is designed to evoke calm, connection, and a sense of ease. Influenced by minimalist Japanese design, I enjoy using white space and carefully considered colour palettes to create harmony and invite quiet reflection.

Through my art, I hope to bring a sense of peace and natural beauty into interior spaces, and to uplift products and brands—creating pieces and patterns that offer comfort, elegance, joy, and curiosity.

Recently, my creative journey has expanded into surface and textile design, where art meets fashion. This growing focus allows me to translate my visual language into tactile forms, creating patterns and prints that bring softness, movement, and story to fabrics, homewares, and wearable pieces.
